As a workshop focused on the importance of reconcilliation, and in recognizing indigenous art, culture and spirituality Join Amanda Grieves as she creates 2 Jingle dresses as a gift to the city. Each participant will be invited to sew ONE jingle on to a dress. At the end of Indigenous People's day, there would be 2 dresses created by the hands of all who participated. The dresses will be donated to the City of Thompson - a gift honoring reconcilliation. Please note tickets are available at varying time estimating each participant gets 10 minutes to chat and sew a jingle. But times may not be exact as stated on the ticket (in half an hour slots) due to various skill levels from each participant Thompson is located on Treaty 5 territory the traditional land of the Nisichawayasihk Cree Nation and homeland of the Metis People.
